Salvation

Christ died for your sins... He was buried.  He was raised to life three days later.
Thanks be to God who gives us the victory) through our Lord Jesus Christ. So then... stand firm and steady.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1Cor 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

You are now in the family of God as his child
See how much the Father has loved us. His love is so great that we are called God's children - and so, in fact, we are.
1John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.To show that you are his child, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, the Spirit who cries out 'Father, my father.  Galatians 4:6  And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES IN YOU
Don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and who was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourselves but to God; . He bought you for a price. So use your bodies for God's glory.
1 Corinthians 6: 19-20. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES YOU: POWER TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE.
The Spirit that God has given us does not make us timid; instead, his Spirit fills us with power, love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1: 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Those who live as their human nature tells them have their minds controlled by what human nature wants. Those who live as the Spirit tells them to, have their minds controlled by what the Spirit wants.  Romans 8:5  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Power to overcome temptation
The Lord’s promise: 'My grace is all you need, for my power is strongest when you are weak.
2 Corinthians 12:9  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.The Spirit comes to help us. weak as we are. For we do not know how we ought to pray: the Spirit  Himself pleads with God for us... the Spirit pleads with God on behalf of His people and in accordance with His will.

Romans 8:26-27.  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Power to tell others about the Lord Jesus
We brought the Good News to you, not with words only but also with the power and the Holy Spirit and with complete conviction of its truth.
1 Thessalonians 1:5. For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. With great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God poured His blessings on them all. Acts 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
Ask God for boldness and courage to tell others about Jesus Christ.

YOU ARE FIGHTING AGAINST THE DEVIL
Be alert, be on the watch. Your enemy, the devil, roams around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

Be firm in your faith and resist him because you know that your fellow-believers in all the world are going through the same kind of sufferings. 1 Peter 5:8-9. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

YOU WILL BECOME A STRONG CHRISTIAN BY:

Reading the Bible
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instruction for right living, so that the person who serves God may be fully qualified and equipped to do every kind of good deed.
2 Timothy 3: 16-17. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee
.

praying
Be persistent in prayer, and keep alert as you pray, giving thanks to God. Colossians 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
Mathew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

YOU WILL BE EXPECTING THE RETURN OF THE LORD JESUS
The ressurection of Jesus gives us the hope for the future. He is called the first born from the dead. Col.1:18  In His ressurection, He was opening the way for those who believed in Him to follow after Him, to also be raised from the dead. He gave Himself for us, to rescue us from all wickedness and to make us a pure people who belong to Him alone and are eager to do good.

Titus 2: 11-14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious
appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 - And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

1. CHRIST DIED FOR YOUR SINS
By the death of Christ on the cross, God was dealing with every person’s sins, suffering and sorrow. Jesus died in the place of every individual in the world, by you receiving personally what He has done on the cross to bring answer to all our needs.
1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

1 Peter 2: 24-25  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
or ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

2. THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES IN YOU
Now you do not belong to yourself but to God, He bought you for a price. So use your bodies for God's glory. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and who was given to you by God. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

3.  Now that you are born again, God has given you His Spirit that is not  to make us timid, instead, His Spirit fills us with power, love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1: 7  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

4.  Now you have overcome all temptations. God has given you His grace which is all you need for God's power is strongest when you are weak.
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

RELY ON CHRIST AND NOT ON YOUR OWN STRENGTH
I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me. Philipians 4: 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
God has said, " I will never leave you; I will never abandon you. Let us be bold, then, and say, "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?" Hebrews 13:5-6  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Telling your friends about the Lord Jesus
Everyday in the Temple and in people's homes they continued to teach and preach the Good news about Jesus the Messiah. Acts 5:42 The apostle Paul wrote: I am less than least of all God's people; yet God gave me this privilege of taking to the Gentiles the Good News about the infinite riches of Christ.

Ephesians 3:8  Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.

Don't be ashamed to keep on telling others about Jesus. Ask God for the boldness and courage to testify to others to tell them about Christ.

YOUR LIFE WILL BE:
Different
Do not conform yourselves to standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Don't go back doing the evil things you used to do. Whoever says that he belongs to the Lord must turn away from wrong doing.
2 Timothy 2: 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Honest
We must change from our old character and walk in the righteousness of God.  Ephesians 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Be an honest person.

Pure
Avoid the passions of the youth, and strive for righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who with a pure heart call out to the Lord for help. 2 Timothy 2:22  Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Humble
All of us must put on an apron of humility, to serve one another; for the scripture says, 'God resists the proud, but shows favour to the humble. 1 Peter 5:5  Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Loving and Kind
Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, as God has forgiven you through Christ. Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Meeting with other Christians
They spent their time in learning the word of God from the apostles, taking part in the fellowship and in prayers.

Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Let us be concerned about one another to show love and to do good. Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead~ let us encourage one another. Hebrews 10:24-25  And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
2 Cor. 2: 14   Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. Triumph is not victory but celebration of won victory.

Christ has won the victory and we administrate it on earth. As you have finished reading this
